Forza Horizon 5 PlayStation: XP Board Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

XP Boards in Forza Horizon 5 are the 255 glowing boards smashed for one-time XP bonuses spread across all three world areas — 200 in Mexico, 25 in Horizon Hot Wheels Park, and 30 in Sierra Nueva — making them the most numerous single collectible type in the game.

All 255 locations, including approach instructions for every elevated 5,000 XP Board, are marked across our three interactive maps: Mexico, Horizon Hot Wheels Park, and Sierra Nueva. Map Master is the free alternative to the paid in-game Treasure Map that reveals the same locations.

Two Trophies, Two Maps

"Complete Collection" (Bronze) — smash all 250 Bonus Boards in Mexico: 200 XP Boards + 50 Fast Travel Boards. Both board types count toward the same 250-board total and the same trophy. This is a Mexico-only trophy — Hot Wheels Park and Sierra Nueva XP Boards are not included.

"Soared and Board" (Bronze) — smash all Bonus Boards in Hot Wheels Park: all 25 Hot Wheels Park XP Boards. A separate DLC-exclusive trophy with no equivalent in Mexico or Sierra Nueva.

Three Board Values and What Each Means

1,000 XP Boards (~100 in Mexico) — the most numerous and most accessible. Found by roadsides, in courtyards, inside tunnels, behind fences, and in rivers. Most can be smashed by simply driving into them without stopping. The easiest way to start the Complete Collection grind.

3,000 XP Boards (~75 in Mexico) — mid-value boards found in more deliberate locations: inside barns (drive down the alley), on temple rooftops (wooden ramps provided), under bridges, in dried-out riverbeds, on plane wings (use the other wing as a ramp), and inside concrete pipes behind trailers.

5,000 XP Boards (~25 in Mexico) — every one of these requires a specific vehicle type, a specific approach angle, and often a precise speed.

Hot Wheels Park: 25 Under and Above the Track

Hot Wheels Park's 25 XP Boards are placed throughout the park's biome terrain rather than on the track itself — under track structures, behind waterfalls, on small canyon islands, at the edges of cliffs, inside loop sections, and at the frozen lake.

Unlike the Mexico boards, which glow brightly against natural terrain, Hot Wheels boards can blend into the park's bright orange infrastructure. Looking down from the track toward the biome below reveals most of the harder-to-spot ones.

Sierra Nueva: 30 Along Rally Roads

Sierra Nueva's 30 XP Boards are predominantly 1,000 XP value and positioned along dirt roads, river banks, and cliff edges throughout the rally terrain.

They're the simplest board type in the game — no ramps, no specific cars, no speed requirements. The majority are driven into directly while navigating the rally stages.
